Civil Engineering

Education

The development of the country demands the design, evaluation and construction of infrastructure works and structures that contribute to the quality of life of the people. This requires technically trained professionals, who integrate teams and communicate effectively, with a professional ethical attitude and aware of the impact that their work has on society, intrinsic aspects in the education offered by the study program. The USM Civil Engineer, with his generalist training and technical excellence, can perform and develop in different professional stages and assume technical and managerial roles in various sub-disciplines and related areas.
