Civil Mining Engineering

Education

Civil Mining Engineers are specialists in the interaction with the earth’s crust for the extraction of non-renewable mineral resources. In their work they must solve the technical and sustainable management problems involved in the mining business.

They can develop their careers in various areas: in project development (exploration, preliminary studies, feasibility, development and decommissioning of deposits); in the operation of mining sites (extraction, processing and marketing); in the supply of technologies, products and specialized services from supplier companies; as entrepreneurs in the mining market or in academic and research areas for innovation.
